Founded by Corey Christman, a retired United States Air Force Special Agent from Oswego, New York, our journey began with a passion for winemaking and a commitment to honoring those who serve. After retiring from the military, Corey pursued oenology and commercial winemaking at Washington State University in 2014. That same year, he connected with Peter Becraft, head winemaker at Anthony Road Wine Company, marking the start of a fruitful collaboration.
In 2017, Corey and his wife Jennifer were married on Veterans Day in a candlelit ceremony at Anthony Road Winery. With the support of their family, including step-son Logan, and the dedicated team at Anthony Road Wine Company—including John Martini and Sarah Eighmey—they formalized the Bravery Wines brand. Launched on Veterans Day 2020, Bravery Wines quickly gained recognition for its high-quality, hand-crafted New York State wines. By 2023, we evolved into Bravery Winery, one of the newest farm wineries in the state. On December 6, 2024, we proudly opened our tasting room in the heart of Dresden, NY, at 88 Main Street.

At Bravery Winery, we partner with esteemed organizations like the Yellow Ribbon Fund, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Clear Path For Veterans, and The Special Liberty Project. With every bottle purchased, we contribute at least $2.00 to support military personnel, first responders, and their families. Our wines are produced in collaboration with Anthony Road Wine Company, ensuring the finest Finger Lakes terroir shines through in every sip.

Nestled among the deep, glacially carved lakes that moderate temperatures and extend the growing season, the Finger Lakes terroir produces wines of exceptional freshness, minerality, and aromatic intensity.
Renowned worldwide for its world-class Riesling, the region excels in crisp, balanced whites that showcase bright acidity, vibrant fruit, and subtle minerality. We also highlight other signature varieties that thrive here, including aromatic whites like Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and unique hybrids such as Melody and Vidal Blanc, alongside elegant reds like Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir (often expressed beautifully in rosé styles).
